The good: the casts' performance. Sandler and company do their best to make you feel like this is a genuine performance and try to make the film feel relatable to the average person who is down on their luck.
The bad: the script. The entire movie's plot is so predictable that I laughed at the end of the film because I knew how it would end about 20 minutes in. *minor spoilers ahead. There isn't anything new in this film that hasn't been explored in other movies that deal with *spoilers* smuggling or gambling. The film feels like it would be more enjoyable if you went in tripping or drunk because very little makes sense when you think about it.
I'm not a fan but after watching the accident and this happy person talking when his still alive made me cry 😞😢.

To each their own, to be fair, but the reasons I've heard so far are juvenile: They wanted an Adam Sandler movie, and instead got something that challenged them and they didn't like that. I think that's what movies are meant to do, like them or not. I really applaud people who make movies not everyone's gonna like, commercially, but that tell a great story and show you the raw truth.
